History and Background

TransParentDay is celebrated every year on the first Sunday in November. It “exists to promote TransParentDay, a day that celebrates life and the love between Transgender parents and their children. And parents and their Transgender children.” Very little is known about it, as the website and Facebook group has limited information.

How to Participate

The website* features a card you can print out for your parent. Otherwise, you may create your own card or purchase one. Many major card sellers now have more inclusive cards or you could find one from a smaller seller, such as on Etsy.

You can also join their Facebook group if you are transgender and a parent OR a parent to a transgender child, according to the group rules.

*Unfortunately, the website was down as of September 2022. The Facebook group still seems to be somewhat active.
