  • APIQWTC: Asian Pacific Islander Queer Women & Transgender Community | Asian & Pacific Islander queer women and transgender people in the Bay Area of California.

  • APP: Asian Pride Project | Narratives from friends and families of LGBTQ Asian and Pacific Islander people. Includes documentaries, interviews, photo series, and stories.

  • Brave Bear | Founded by a transman to help celebrate LGBTQ milestones such as coming out, marriage, and gender transitions

  • CenterLink: LGBT Community Centers | Find your local LGBT center; they often have support groups among other valuable resources.

  • COLAGE | A community for youth and young adults who have one or more LGBTQ parents.

  • Deaf Queer Chat | Meet new people, connect with friends, share your expertise, and/or get support.

  • Gender Spectrum Online Groups | Groups for gender questioning/non-conforming pre-teens and teens, as well as parents raising gender non-conforming kids. Includes support and resources for BIPOC pre-teens/teens, Spanish-speaking groups, and facilitators.

  • GLBT Near Me | Find local LGBTQ resources by zipcode; including support groups.

  • PFLAG: Find A Nearby Chapter | Localized support groups for the LGBTQ community, allies, friends, and family. The local chapters may have a list of resources; especially if newly disclosing or new to the area.

  • Trans Parent Day | A group to promote the first Sunday in November as Trans Parent Day, as well as offer a place to connect with both those who are trans and parents, and those who are parents of trans children.

Mentorship

  • Lifeworks Mentoring | One-on-one youth mentoring program that matches youth with a trained mentor through the Los Angeles LGBT Center.

  • Live Out Loud | An organization that connects NYC LGBTQ youth with positive role models in the LGBTQ community by bringing speakers and panels into the classroom.

  • Out in Tech | A mentorship program that pairs college-age LGBT youth with tech professionals to learn both technical and professional skills needed for a successful career in the tech industry.

  • Point Foundation | Scholarship foundation that matches recipients with a trained mentor in addition to providing leadership development and community service training.

  • Sam & Devorah Foundation's Trans Mentor Project | National e-mentoring program that pairs trans and nonbinary (TGNB) youth and young adults with TGNB adult mentors.

  • Silver Lining Mentoring | A Boston, MA organization that matches youth in foster care ages 7 and older with a one-to-one volunteer mentor.

  • USC Lambda Mentoring Program | University of Southern California mentorship program that connects LGBT undergraduate and graduate students with alumni mentors.
